Life is pretty stressful these days. We work so hard at our careers, relationships and other life goals, and yet somehow it can feel like we are always falling short. Anxious, exhausted, pissed off at the world, or even just plain overwhelmed by it all, we can end up circling round and round the same problems, feeling disconnected from our own lives and those around us.
As a lawyer-turned-Registered Psychotherapist and Social Worker with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology, I have a special understanding of the stress and anxiety-inducing challenges faced by so many of us today. I use this knowledge, together with scientifically proven counselling techniques, to help people searching for practical solutions to emotional, relationship, and career issues. My counselling approach is a unique blend of logic and kind-heartedness. It may seem impossible to believe but there is a logical rationale for your feelings and actions (yes, even your anxiety or that argument you keep having with your partner). I try to help people understand the "whys" of their feelings and behavioural patterns, and how to connect with a healthier way of doing things.
